As a Lead Commercial Business Development (w/m/d) , you can identify with Zalando's vision to become the starting point for fashion in Europe. Connected Network provides an interface between the fields of Technology and Logistics. In this function, together with your colleagues, you identify strategic opportunities and apply innovative solutions for our partners and customers under the Zalando platform strategy
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
Build the value proposition for Connected Network, a new team within Customer Fulfillment. Develop the go-to-market strategy for Connected Network and its logistics partner propositions.
Drive customer workshops, gather insights, build hypotheses and evaluate potential for new business opportunities.
Define, develop and guide strategic partnerships that will accelerate the development and expansion of the Connected Network.
Drive strategic commercial projects within Business Development, Product and Commercial. Effectively drive projects with other teams at Zalando as well as with relevant partners and customers.
Partner up with Commercial Support on large strategic sales pitches and customer dialogues.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
University degree in the field of economics, engineering or business administration along with previous experience as a consultant in a top tier strategy consulting firm and/or in core strategic/business development role in a large corporation, preferably in the ecommerce/fashion/tech environment.
Good understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem, as well as of omni- and multi channel business models or platform development. Solid experience in partner sales & account management.
Ability to inspire and motivate your colleagues and stakeholders in order to achieve common goals. Via your strong stakeholder management skills, you are able to influence internal and external partners. Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English); you are able to effectively communicate at all levels.
