About the Role
The Workday Analytics organization empowers our customers to get a complete view of their HCM, FIN and operational data in the context of their business. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager in an outbound Product Management role, focusing on FINs and the office of the CFO. This is an exciting opportunity to empower FINs and oCFO to be strategically data driven enabling meaningful insights and measurable actions.
As a Senior Product Manager, your position will require you to foster a strong customer community amongst our Workday Prism customers. You must be strong in outbound activities, such as working directly with customers, Sales, Presales, Customer Success Management, Product Marketing, and other teams close to Workday customers. You must have effective verbal and written communication.

What you will do

  • Dive into use cases and understand how our customers are leveraging our platform to deliver meaningful insights and maximize business value

  • Manage and run customer facing programs, from product user groups to scaling up our formal early adopter programs

  • Be fluent in speaking with FIN organizations, have knowledge of FIN processes and understand the charter & pain points of a CFO

  • Run and provide insights and metrics on adoption, usage and customer health to product leadership

  • Partner with customers to increase product adoption

  • Gather customer insights and feedback, and infuse the learning back into the organization and product area roadmaps

  • Influence Product roadmapping by translating the pulse of customers and the market into meaningful innovations by working closely with Inbound Product Managers and engineering teams

  • Support the Sales team, by being the subject matter expert on product questions and presenting the product roadmap to Prism prospects

  • Be the product champion externally, and passionate voice of the customer internally.

  • Consistently execute – juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, deliver results.

  • Meet directly with both existing and prospective customers to talk use cases and product roadmap.

If you have
Basic Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of experience as a Product Manager managing high impact customer outcomes.

  • A minimum of 3 years in FIN products and services. Experience with Financial reporting and Analytics products is a definite plus

Other Qualifications

  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to motivate a team, provide clear direction, and give insight on industry trends.

  • Strong understanding of design thinking and product development process.

  • A collaborative attitude and work very well with others; understand you need to provide leadership and guidance while not having all of the ideas, can understand and communicate all perspectives, take responsibility for decisions, make tradeoffs, participate in a culture of knowledge sharing and transparency, and have the experience in software development to appreciate the challenges engineering and product teams face.

  • Experience with Reporting or BI/Analytics tools

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent.
