Job Description
The Sr. Director Executive Talent Acquisition is responsible for driving the strategy development and leadership of the Executive Talent Acquisition (TA) team at Workday. This role will lead a team of executive recruiters in the attraction, engagement and selection of top leadership talent in the technology industry.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Executive TA Business Leader focused on a creating and driving a proactive, strategic executive talent strategy

  • Trusted partner who delivers programs for a consistent, scalable and amazing recruiting experience throughout the candidate journey.

  • Data driven individual who utilizes industry research and trend data to determine the best path forward and talent strategy through data and insights.

  • Provides industry and talent expertise in areas of proactive and opportunistic talent networking, succession planning, organizational structures through market insight, and

  • Creates and monitors talent acquisition performance and adjusts strategy and processes accordingly for continuous improvement.

  • Partners with diversity team, HR business partners, finance, legal, total rewards and TA leaders to collaborate on executive talent needs, pipeline, policy, and process.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of talent acquisition experience working with 5+ years of executive recruiting experience

  • 5+ years managing teams and leading talent acquisition teams required.

  • Experience creating talent acquisition-related strategies such as process improvement strategic sourcing, diversity initiatives, etc. required.

  • Experience engaging with, and managing the performance of, third-party partners required.

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic talent mapping and networking

  • Out of the box thinker, who can innovate and challenge the status quo with new initiatives and strategic talent programs.
