Job Description
Workday is forming a high-performance Revenue Operations organization to steer us toward our goal of growing from $4B to $10B in revenue. The RevOps Insights and Innovation group is a key player in fueling this growth by providing thought leadership in RevOps analytics. This team is responsible for uncovering new insights, developing and testing new analytical approaches, and serving accurate and consistent ad hoc analysis to stakeholders.
As a Research & Insights Analyst, you will be the ultimate thought leader on an assigned portfolio of metrics within the Demand, Pipeline or Customer phase of the customer journey. You will partner with stakeholders on large strategic projects, and proactively uncover new insights and engage with stakeholders on data-driven decisions to support future growth.
Responsibilities

  • Act as the ultimate thought leader on a portfolio of metrics within the Demand, Pipeline or Customer phase of the customer journey

  • Prepare a quarterly read-out of key trends and insights within assigned metric portfolio and share with our business functional leaders

  • Partner with business stakeholders to support strategic initiatives with custom analysis

  • Proactively conduct strategic analysis based on own questions and findings, engage with stakeholders on how they might act on those insights

  • Support ad hoc analytics requests by functional teams related to metric portfolio

  • Serve as process owner for an assigned portfolio of metrics. “Own” official definition and follow data governance process for recommending and considering requests for updates

  • Partner with Analytics Data Specialist to implement metrics accurately in data models and metric catalog documentation; help QA results

  • Alert and advise Data Stewardship team on base data issues affecting metrics

  • Mentor and coach Workmates

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ years of analytics experience

  • Experience in business data sets with proven analytical and quantitative skills

  • Experience with Salesforce and BI tools (e.g. Tableau) preferred

  • Cloud data warehouse experience a bonus

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Takes initiative and tackles challenges with enthusiasm

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
