As a member of the Platform Core Services & Security Engineering team you will lead the way in building an interactive, cloud-based Big Data analytics platform that enables our customers to model, analyze, and visualize massive datasets.
You will manage the results of application security scans and audits, threat modeling, and pentesting of our web servers, APIs, services, etc.
You will build scalable and robust backend APIs to support browser-based exploratory data analysis and visualizations in our product.
You will write application components and services for our Big Data analytics platform including public and internal APIs, API infrastructure security, and authentication.
You will design metadata management and application lifecycle management components, query caching services, and integrations with third party tools.
You have demonstrated experience with:

You enjoy designing and leading the development of substantial features with a steady focus on non-functional requirements such as scalability, performance, security, maintainability, etc.
You have a track record of driving projects to completion, overcoming roadblocks with enthusiasm and creativity.
You are able to juggle priorities and make the right tradeoffs in terms of scope vs. time, ensuring customer success and technology leadership for the company.
You are a collaborative team player who loves to work in self-organizing Agile teams.
You are technology agnostic, eager to learn new technologies to solve business problems, and take a pragmatic approach to get the job done.
You have 3+ years back-end or full-stack software development experience and a Computer Science degree or equivalent.
