About the Team
The Global Marketing Operations and PMO team creates and continually optimizes the infrastructure and processes that allow Workday Marketing to effectively and efficiently build awareness and generate qualified demand for our products. We focus on operational effectiveness, business impact, and enablement.
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Operations Program Manager to join our team. This position offers a senior marketer a chance to manage global initiatives and enablement programs designed to improve Marketing’s overall employee experience, support professional development, and bolster the organization’s ability to effectively meet its goals.
About the Role
Workmates and the passion to help them thrive is at the heart of this role. The Senior Marketing Operations Program Manager will bring employee-centric programs to life, support Marketing learning capabilities, expand our new hire onboarding program, assist team leaders in developing career frameworks, and help assimilate newly acquired employees through a variety of programs. In addition, the Senior Marketing Operations Program Manager will liaise with partner organizations such as People & Purpose, Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness, Products, and Finance to roll out newly crafted programs, processes, and approaches.
The successful candidate has senior program management skills, marketing acuity, and strong communications experience combined with an interest in learning enablement.
Other specific responsibilities include:
Partner with Marketing leadership and key business partners to identify, plan, and execute key talent and enablement initiatives.
Evaluate the effectiveness of current talent and enablement programs and recommend appropriate changes and improvements.
Own the Marketing learning strategy. Partner with Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness to align Marketing to their organizational strategy and vision.
Act as Marketing point of contact and subject matter expert for the Workday Learning tool. Assist teams in using it to support compliance, professional development, and best practice initiatives.
Assist the Marketing mergers and acquisitions integration team in developing programs to welcome, educate, and assimilate newly acquired Workmates.
Support Marketing leaders in developing role-specific career frameworks.
Plan, communicate, and launch Marketing enablement programs. Drive adoption and measure effectiveness.
Provide agenda and content support for global Marketing Manager meetings.
Identify and lead ad hoc strategic projects.
An enthusiastic, well-organized, self-starter with initiative, drive, and the ability to adapt to change.
Proven senior-level program management experience leading multiple projects simultaneously with timely delivery.
Demonstrated experience driving departmental learning or enablement programs. Marketing experience is advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Writing samples are required.
Consistent track record developing and driving program strategy while securing executive consensus.
Experience building trusted peer relationships across the organization and positively influencing program support, adoption, and success.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications with sophisticated knowledge of MS PowerPoint.
Expertise with collaboration tools (G Suite, Zoom, Slack, Excel, etc.).
Project Management/PMP Certification is desired.
