Peakon, a Workday company is at the cutting edge of employee listening and employee engagement, and is looking for an experienced and motivated business psychologist to both support customers across their lifecycle with us, and to help us take the development of our products and services to the next level.
About the Job
As our Senior Business Psychologist, you will join our Principal Psychologist in providing support to Peakon, a Workday company around occupational psychology theory and best practice, across all areas of the business, both internally, and in a customer facing role.
With a background in occupational psychology, you will be embedded within the Peakon, a Workday company Science team, where you will provide support to our sales teams, in helping customers to understand the psychological science behind Peakon, a Workday company’s methods, models, and technology, in particular around Employee Engagement, and other areas such as wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, individual differences, etc.
You will become an expert in Peakon, a Workday company’s products and services, and be able to clearly articulate both the technical and practical benefits of these to external stakeholders, who will have a range of levels of expertise. In particular you will generate a strong sense of credibility and trust, both in yourself as a subject matter expert, and in Peakon, a Workday company as an organization, emphasizing the strong scientific basis for Peakon, a Workday company’s products. You will enjoy generating excitement in best practice psychology methods and how these can benefit employees and organizations.
This is not a sales role, but you will be working closely with our global sales teams by attending sales meetings, and to engage and excite customers about the benefits and validity of Peakon, a Workday company’s methods, with a focus on psychology. You will also upskill sales people at Peakon, a Workday company in this area, and contribute to the creation of RFP/RFI documentation.
You will also support other teams in Peakon, a Workday company as required, from Marketing, Customer Success, and Organizational Development, working with the Principal Psychologist to carry out research and spread knowledge of occupational psychology best practice internally, providing your experience and insights to support the creation of collateral and documentation. You will also support the research and development of new products, questionnaires, and behavioral frameworks as required.
Requirements
  • You will have a background in psychology, with an interest in several areas of occupational psychology, particularly employee engagement
  • You will have experience of working directly with customers
  • You will be a confident communicator, with effective spoken and written communication skills, and able to explaining psychological concepts to others
  • Experience of research methods and questionnaire design would be an advantage
