The Product Manager in this role will have a unique opportunity to help guide a highly skilled engineering and design team to create products used by 1000s of Workday customers to get their day-to-day jobs done, making everyday tasks more efficient. You will have the opportunity to build modern connected business applications that positively impact how our customers work with enterprise applications - making them more intuitive and interactive, and meeting the standards users expect from their consumer technology experiences.As a Product Manager, you will:
Pairing with another strong product manager to help form and forge the future strategy of a product that just went to market in it's earliest form.
Use industry, product and customer knowledge to influence product vision, strategy and roadmap
Lead product discovery; talking with customers, logically assessing their challenges, define the problems to be solved, work with design and development to create solutions, complete functional competitive analysis, and author requirements
Work closely with agile development teams to efficiently deliver high quality software solutions on a regular cadence.
Gather customer and product insights and feedback every week, and infuse the learnings back into the organization and product area roadmaps
Be the product champion externally, and passionate voice of the customer and product internally.
Inspire an awesome development team to provide value to our customers
Support our product at scale, blazing trail on the highest-leverage paths to customer success
Provide PM thought leadership, mentor junior team members, be comfortable presenting to groups, and drive organizational efficiency
Self-driven passionate about product, always looking to take on work and get great pleasure from helping others understand
An excellent communicator, written and verbal, and enjoy fast paced work environment
Exceptional in the details, super-organized – juggling multiple projects in a complex organization, meet deadlines, deliver results

You understand the need to provide leadership and guidance while not having all of the ideas, can understand and communicate the customer’s perspectives, take responsibility for decisions, make tradeoffs, and have the experience in software development to appreciate the challenges engineering and product teams face
5+ years of product management experience delivering enterprise software in the Cloud, with responsibility for managing products, or significant product feature sets
A collaborative attitude with experience working with cross-disciplinary teams
