The Business Development function at Workday is responsible for working with a broad spectrum of existing and new partners globally to accelerate Workday's growth rate and our pace of innovation. The Industry Partnership role within Business Development is responsible for enabling partnerships that complement Workday offerings targeting the Office of the CFO.Responsibilities include:
Develop and manage relationships with Industry-focused partners, including the ability to lead complex contract negotiations relating to product development and GTM motions
Define and incubate new business models to provide whole solutions meeting targeted industry needs
Develop strong working relationships cross-functionally to align on target industries, partner selection, model incubation and implementation, as well as to drive success in the field and ultimately deliver customer value
Establish a repeatable process for deal review and approval and lead deal execution across all Workday functions
Previous proven track record leading Business Development and partnership initiatives at mid to large Enterprise SaaS organization
Natural complex deal negotiator
Analytic approach to problem solving, a collaborative critical thinker
Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, highly flexible, with excellent communications skills
Methodical approach with organizational skills to manage parallel opportunities concurrently
Must have positive attitude, high energy, resilience, and possess a strong work ethic
Able to demonstrate a high level of integrity and a desire for high quality
A proven track record of success meeting or exceeded goals/targets
