WeWork is looking for a compliance professional to join its Global Compliance & Ethics Team! The position is based in WeWork’s New York office and will support WeWork’s business in the United States and Canada.
As a Compliance Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting WeWork’s Global Compliance & Ethics Program. The responsibilities include collaborating on a broad range of compliance and ethics matters, including anti-money laundering, anti corruption, sanctions and conflicts of interest; developing and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate compliance and ethics risk; supporting Compliance risk assessments and internal investigations; assisting in executing training and communication plans to ensure consistent application of compliance and ethics policies.
Other Key Areas Of Responsibility

  • Assist with vendor vetting and conflicts of interest disclosures

  • Work with regional compliance counsels globally and in different time zones

  • Collaborate with business partners, including Finance, Shared Services, People, Internal Audit, Sales, and Product

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments

  • Strong track record for delivering results

  • Hands-on project management experience, including the ability to manage a large number and variety of mission-critical projects, working independently and often in ambiguous environments;

  • Sound and practical business judgment as well as common sense

  • Team player and consensus builder with great people skills who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business partners at all levels throughout the organization

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
