Integration Architect, People Systems

About the Role
The Integration Architect, People will oversee the design and documentation of all HCM, Benefit, Payroll, and Recruiting related integrations. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Workday integrations, particularly relevant to HCM, with a focus on scalable solutions that are reusable, system agnostic, and global. The ability to prioritize multiple projects and effectively partner with stakeholders to drive the business towards a better future is key.


  • Build new and support high quality integrations that are scalable and global at the core

  • Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate resolution with operations functional, and technical teams – with emphasis on sustainable long term solutions

  • Partner closely with functional partners to understand business needs and confirm feasibility of sustainable integration solutions

  • Consider the impacts across all functional areas and regions before making integration decisions

  • Develop and maintain design documentation and runbooks for key stakeholders and users

  • Understand and follow company practices and policies surrounding data governance, security, and end to end development lifecycle


  • Must be experienced in the Workday and relevant HR technology stack (HCM, payroll, time & absence, LMS...)

  • 3+ years of practical Enterprise Integration and Web Service development experience

  • Working knowledge of XML transformation languages and associated web service calls (SOAP/ REST) is required

  • Workday Integrations Certification (current or expired) is a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across the development life cycle: analysis, design, development and testing, implementation, documentation, and evaluation

  • Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills
