The Visa Direct Product Architecture and Development team is responsible for ensuring that Visa Direct has all the product capabilities needed to support clients as we continue to drive rapid growth in new payment flows. At its core, Visa Direct offers clients ways to move money using a variety of networks. Money can flow into or out of a client ecosystem leveraging one or more of these “move money” capabilities. To better support all of the payments products Visa Direct offers (e.g. card payments, account payments, and wallet payments), we need to bolster and stretch the boundaries for how we receive and distribute funds from clients.
The money movement product lead will be responsible for managing the strategy, roadmap and end-to end delivery of money movement capabilities to accelerate funds flow, expand use of liquidity and invest in more flexible and robust FX capabilities. These capabilities are required to serve the diverse types of clients we support (Treasury/Corporate Banks, Fintechs, Remitters) and their use cases (Payouts, Remittances), in additional the core segments and use cases that are central to our strategy going forward.
Develop product strategy and roadmap for settlement, liquidity, and FX enhancements needed to support clients and their use cases
Work with partners to execute the product roadmap and successfully launch clients on new capabilities
- Support commercialization teams with materials, training, and client engagement to enable sales of the service
- Define KPIs and success metrics; track and analyze progress against goals
- Monitor product adoption; identify opportunities and make recommendations to drive product uptake and effectiveness
- Evaluate new product opportunities (both buy and build solutions) to enhance money movement offerings
Provide reporting and recommendations to leadership on an ongoing basis
Coach, mentor, and/or manage other product managers
10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
Familiarity with payment systems (card networks, ACH, RTP, digital wallets)
Strong customer-facing communication skills and technical aptitude
Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way and strong documentation skills, including PowerPoint
Detail oriented and highly execution focused by working in conjunction with various counterparts across multiple functional groups
Ability to quickly learn about the internal Visa systems and how it all works together
Ability to influence, negotiate and drive results, ensuring that timelines are adhered to and any risks to the project are called out early
Embrace change and ambiguity in an ecosystem that is rapidly evolving.
Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
Global experience in the payments industry e.g. Payments processing and innovations in developed and emerging markets
