About the Role
We're looking for a Program Specialist to join the Strategy & Planning arm of Global, Safety, Risk & Identity Team to contribute to Uber's goal of providing world-class customer support by helping coordinate and drive project launches.
The Program Specialist will own and assist with the administration of projects, important recurring tasks, and other program management activities. This position will work on a diverse array of projects spanning the Global Community Operations Safety, Risk & Identity programs. This person should have a strong understanding and ability to learn Strategy & Planning program activities.
The ideal candidate is a methodical but creative problem solver who has a passion for process improvement, solution iteration, and program operations. The team member must thrive in the type of environment that is ambiguous, fast-paced, and where the only thing that is consistent is change.
What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain a central repository for all Safety, Risk, and Identity relevant documentation
  • Design, build, and publish partner newsletters
  • Coordinate data updates for monthly scorecards
  • Provide administrative support for monthly operating reviews including deck/presentation building, coordinating completion of materials w/team members
  • Attend meetings to take notes and ensure action items are completed
  • Capture requirements and data to build partner presentations regarding Safety, Risk, and Identity core functions
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or project management role
  • Experience working in a highly detail-oriented environment, demonstrating a high degree of diligence and accountability
  • Experience crafting decks / presentations to partners
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for driving quality and process improvement
  • Confident communicating feedback and findings to partners
  • Proficiency in productivity tools (email, calendar), Google Suite (Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Project or Program management (Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, etc.)
  • Experience using Asana
  • Bachelor's degree or college experience
  • Specific examples of how you managed partners
  • Specific examples of how you initiated a project and saw it through from beginning to end
  • Specific examples of how you published newsletters or updates to partners
