About the Role
As Uber Eats expands beyond restaurants into new verticals, we're looking for a marketer to be part of the founding New Verticals marketing team. As the Product Marketing Manager for Grocery & Convenience Experience, you'll be responsible for developing and executing an outstanding post first order experience. You will work hand in hand with the cross-functional team, including product managers, UXR, operations, design, engineering, brand and regional marketing.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the post first order experience and be the conduit between product, marketing and ops teams.
  • Drive global learning and research agenda to inform future product strategy. Deeply collaborate with UXR and design teams to synthesize core user needs.
  • Advocate for the user through feature recommendations that offer an improved experience that encourages users to keep coming back to the platform.
  • Use user research to define the product positioning and RTBs.
  • Define and iterate on ideal user journey and partner with product and CRM to develop the product and lifecycle comms to support this.
  • Partner with product and regional marketing to pilot and scale successful features globally.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-8 years marketing experience delivering highly successful marketing and engagement strategies. Previous product marketing experience is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialist marketer: You have a proven track record of building and executing campaigns that drive material business impact.
  • The willingness and know-how to deeply understand your market, customers and competition.
  • The ability to identify and use insights to inform positioning, messaging, and targeting for marketing strategies and product development.
  • Scary-good at articulating the essence of products and the value they build. You can develop a strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy plan.
  • Finger-tippinesses with data: You just go get the data you need with no muss/fuss and can whip it into an insightful story. You know how to use data to make decisions and inform your strategies.
  • Master storyteller: You can craft a compelling narrative across different channels - you know how to match the message to the medium.
  • An "owner" personality: You're biased toward action, a great collaborator and master disambiguator/simplifier. You never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery.
