Product Manager - Uber's Web Product Experience - Mobility, Planned Travel & Reservations

The Rider Verticals teams are building Uber's latest brand-new products and services that look to re-define and expand just what it means to "Uber".
Today ridesharing and "Uber" is predominantly seen as a solution for getting from A to B on-demand and at the moment. We are rapidly growing our group with like-minded technical pioneers that are excited about how we can reshape the minds of our customers, and get them to use Uber for more use-cases and moments than ever before - through both mobile and web.
In this role, the PM will be responsible for the E2E customer experience for m.uber.com (our web booking platform). The role will involve setting the vision for Uber's web experience and partnering with other teams to onboard verticals, with a web-centric customer experience. The team is a very central component with lots of cross-functional engagement to spin up and elevate our web experience for Uber-mobility.
What You'll Do
Aligned with the broader Rider Verticals business efforts, you'll:
  • Bring a true passion for helping the team to develop a product+business to win all users booking mobility services via Web.
  • Own a product roadmap and lead vision, execution and definition of new features that will be used to collect data & build the best product experience
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas & work closely with Design and Engineering to make them a reality.
  • Thrive in an environment of fast feedback loops and an approach of rapid prototyping and iteration.
  • Collaborate with Uber's internal partners, including product managers, engineering, data science, business development, local city teams and global operations teams to ensure that our products support Uber's business objectives, globally.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years of Product Management experience
  • Deep passion for growing businesses and developing new products
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Both a passion for user experience and system design, as well as a strategic outlook in how our products align with our business scenarios
  • A love for formulating product vision leveraging user research and metrics, getting buy-in from key partners across the organization, and breaking down a vision into a tangible roadmap
  • Strong data-driven prioritization skills - you understand the concepts required when building products and how to work with the business on prioritization
  • Strong communication and partnership skills- this will be an extremely cross-functional role, with partner teams spanning multiple offices globally.
