About the Role
Uber's People and Organization Development (POD) team is passionate about accelerating Uber's business by improving employee growth experience across their career life cycle at Uber. This team will be responsible for building out and implementing key OD processes - Performance, Culture & Engagement, Change Management, Talent Management and Onboarding.
As the Director of Talent Management, you will be passionate about delivering innovative Talent strategies, tools and processes that will drive Uber's business forward, enable our employees to deliver peak performance in a culture of regular and ongoing development, and focus on identifying critical roles and build strong benches to enable growth at Uber.
What You'll Do
As the Director of Talent Management, you will provide thought leadership to this space, establishing an approach and a process that serves business growth as well as builds real time growth opportunities for Talent at Uber. You will be reporting to the Head of People and Organization Development at Uber.
What You'll Need
- Build the Talent Management strategy for Uber
Build an industry best practice talent process which is based on the central pillars of growth, strengths, and feedback
Ensure business growth is front and center of the Talent process
Leverage a user-centric approach to craft Talent processes and solutions that are simple, global, easy and effective
Research, analyze and make recommendations for new technologies and solutions in the space of talent management
Continuously explore ways for Uber's talent planning approach to be more groundbreaking while striving for efficiency, effectiveness and agility
Integrate success profiles into talent initiatives such as hiring, career, mobility, succession planning and ongoing development
Partner with the P&P org to integrate Talent as part of the people product lifecycle at Uber
Work with PD to build Talent Management muscle in our leaders and Managers to ensure the process is delivered with right intention and process
Master degree preferred with a focus in Organization Development, HR, or related
- 15 years of Talent Management, Organization Development, Leadership Development and/or Human Resources related experience
5+ years of people management experience

Demonstrated leadership presence, with a proven track record to influence key senior leaders
Strong point of view and experience in applying the lens of equity, inclusion, and diversity across the employee lifecycle including processes, programs, and products
Meaningful problem-solving skills with strategic knowledge about next generation talent tools required
