Job Description
We seek to evolve Twitter into a platform that is instrumental in the success of small businesses across the world. This is a time of phenomenal challenge for small businesses everywhere, but one where Twitter can play a positive role in helping businesses navigate, adjust, and thrive as we exit these uncertain times.
This is a high-visibility product role responsible for meeting the needs of our SMB customers. It is an opportunity to join a growing team from the beginning of a massive multi-year initiative. You will be responsible for helping Twitter attract and retain businesses, driving meaningful engagement between businesses and their audience, and delivering delightful, simple experiences that produce unmistakable results.
An ideal candidate will be mission-driven, and capable of thinking holistically about the entire business journey: onboarding, insights, discovery, engagement, administrative tools, and outcomes. We're looking for an excellent communicator, adept at working cross-functionally, leading multiple stakeholders, and able to build and launch products globally at scale. You have a track record of delivering successful features at either a SaaS or consumer software company. You are equally proficient at understanding technical design, backend APIs, and front-end user experience for web and mobile-based services. You love to identify problems and find solutions to tackle those problems. You are an evangelist for your product movement across the company.
Your responsibilities include:
  • Be accountable for product roadmaps, resource allocation, and release cadence
  • Driving organic success for SMBs on Twitter
  • Leading a cross-functional team of engineers, product marketing, research, design, data science, and sales.
  • Working with adjacent teams to deliver solutions that are better together

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Experience designing and building consumer-grade or SMB products focused on ease-of-use and delight.
  • Passionate about building user experience seen by millions of users globally
  • Able to flourish with minimal guidance; you are proactive and thrive in uncertain and ambiguous environments
  • +5 years of product management experience
  • Technical skills: ability to gain an in-depth understanding of software systems and make meaningful contributions to high-stakes discussions on data modeling or software architecture.
  • Broad skillset – someone who has excellent product design sense plus awareness and interest in market dynamics, pricing, etc.
  • Computer Science background or similar experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
