Job Description
Twitter Procure to Pay is a diverse group of out-of-the-box thinkers who are passionate about innovation and we’re looking for an energetic leader to help shape the future of our global travel, expense, and card (TEC). This role will focus on global travel while providing strategic direction and guidance for the global expense and card programs, leading the TEC Tower tower to a best-in-class model. This role will also be responsible for creating and maintaining key internal and external partnerships and working to optimize the global Tweep travel experience at Twitter as we navigate unprecedented nuances. This role is based out of the US (PST hours) and will report to the Head of Global Procure to Pay.
What you’ll do:
  • Strive to ensure the global Travel, Expense, and Card programs are current, effective, and best-in-class.
  • Provide oversight, leadership, and coaching to the Global Expense and Card Program leads. Serve as the primary point of escalation for the TEC tower.
  • Develop and drive global strategy and best practices for the TEC Tower while ensuring consistency across the region.
  • Serve as a Travel SME in a cross-functional team focused on Tweep safety as we consider returning to travel.
  • Be the key point of contact for travelers, executive assistants, department leadership, and suppliers for all matters pertaining to global travel, including managing emergency situations.
  • Provide operational management oversight of the corporate travel agency and the Concur booking tool. Manage system tools, user interface, and TMC integrations including training and regional implementations.
  • Investigates and resolves business partner travel issues.
  • Create and track measurement metrics to track global supplier performance, employee experience, and safety initiatives while identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Develop peer perspective reporting and benchmark analysis.
  • Participate in partner negotiations to ensure we maximize quality and value at competitive pricing.
  • Ensure the quality of internal and external customer experiences.
  • Manage and enhance global/regional preferred supplier relationships (air, hotel, rideshare, etc.).
  • Develop and host global training and travel fairs in conjunction with the Expense and Card Program leads to create awareness of the Twitter TEC programs and available resources.
  • Perform SOX-related activities and compliance audits.
  • Manage metrics, prepare QBRs, and drive performance and efficiency opportunities.
  • Perform and present complex data analysis for the TEC tower.


Who You Are:

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience plus 10+ years of experience in global travel management, vendor/partner management, sourcing/procurement/procure to pay, T&E, and card program administration
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and you’re in-the-know about the latest and greatest in travel, expense, and card technologies.
  • You are a leader who can excite and lead diverse, global, and cross-functional teams through charisma and influence.
  • You are an excellent communicator and can flawlessly engage with Tweeps of all levels.
  • You’re comfortable presenting to large groups and developing company-wide communications and training programs.
  • You’re in your element with data and are able to take large data sets, present them in digestible summaries, and extract meaningful insights.
  • You are an advanced user of Concur, Appzen, Google Suite (including Hangouts, Sheets, Slides, and Docs) and have experience in tools such as Slack, Workday, SalesForce, Tableau, and other analytic tools.
  • Project management and negotiation experience are required.
