The Culture and Community team focuses on how Twitter amplifies, connects with, supports and elevates voices from historically underrepresented communities on Twitter. We are looking for a strong strategist and brand storyteller with cultural and integrated marketing experience to elevate our work and the team. This person will be focused on activating, understanding and amplifying diverse communities through unique campaigns and experiences. This person is deeply interested in and committed to understanding the layers of perspectives through intersectional experiences, loves amplifying voices that matter, and has a proven background in creating audience-led, insights-driven, measurable, on-brand, consumer experiences that create impact at scale.
Job Description

What you’ll do:


  • Work with Global Director of Culture and Community to lead inclusive marketing efforts:

    • Partner with Consumer marketing to lead, champion, integrate the insights, stories and experiences of voices from diverse communities into the brand story of Twitter

    • Develop and drive overarching cultural marketing strategy and activations for Twitter

    • Drive culturally relevant work across the company

    • Prioritize and determine opportunities to activate among other internal stakeholders

  • Partner with internal stakeholders in the Customers and GMC orgs (Twitter Client Services/Global Content Partnerships) to:

    • Advise and consult internally on culturally relevant client partner opportunities

    • Work with ArtHouse team to manage and review Voicesx projects and briefs

    • Help define and refine work processes and governing strategies across Twitter GMC and Customers

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years experience in integrated, cultural or multicultural marketing.

  • On the pulse of what’s happening

  • Deep in Twitter. Connected to culture.

  • Experience managing a variety of internal and external clients.

  • Passion for connecting with diverse communities and elevating voices.

  • Ability to make thoughtful and strategic decisions under pressure

  • Balanced and steady

  • Strong communicator and dynamic storyteller

  • Experience driving complex, cross-functional campaigns and activations.

  • Brand strategy experience

  • Proficiency in Spanish a plus.
