CrossInstall is a high-performance mobile app advertising platform that was recently acquired by Twitter. Now part of Twitter, we are looking for a talented individual to help further develop our creatives and supporting systems, working as part of our small but terrific engineering team at the company
What you will do
Develop new features for the playable advertisements
Maintain and improve of the existing codebase
Interface with the requirements of CrossInstall DSP and other partners
Communicate with and assist remote development teams
Troubleshoot bugs reported from Quality Assurance
Implement automation for internal teams - such as project management, design, and quality assurance teams.
Evaluate and make recommendations on technologies and tools that will improve the performance and reliability of our system
Be ready to roll up your sleeves and pitch in to help on any other tasks
Who you are
You wish to tackle hard product and engineering challenges while following and championing software engineering best practices
You have a keen ability to understand business requirements and design and build what's needed to support the current and future needs of our business
You are endlessly curious and able to work both collaboratively and independently
You have empathy for internal customers and end users
You have great verbal and written communication skills
You are experienced and have the desire to interview and evaluate applicants on a technical and cultural fit level
3+ years in software development
B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
Experience using Chrome or Firefox developer tools to evaluate network requests, asset file weight, and DOM rendering speed.
Knowledge of common JS development frameworks, bundling/minification techniques, and Node.js process automation
Experience with HTML5 game development (knowledge of phaser.js is a major plus)
