Who We Are:

The Twitter IT Enterprise Applications team is looking for an extraordinary Manager to lead and scale our Integrations team. Our team works multi-functionally with our partners in IT Systems, Engineering Operations, Security, and other teams to coordinate work, handle ticket escalations and resolve issues.

What You’ll Do:

You will be a hands-on technical leader, working with our team. To continually strengthen our growing team you will help lead Twitter's enterprise application integration strategy by implementing established EAI patterns, creating and supporting dependable infrastructure, and reusable components. You will partner with business and engineering teams to prioritize requests and consistently deliver excellent results against time-sensitive priorities. You have practiced interpersonal communication skills, are team-oriented, and thrive in a fast paced environment. You will design robust systems with high volume and high availability.

To continually strengthen our growing team, we are looking for an experienced Integrations manager focused on connecting internal applications with a background in driving projects and delivering value through strong business partnerships.

If this sounds like you, you probably have experience with:


  • You are a proven leader who is hardworking, learns quickly and thrives in a fast paced environment

  • You have several years experience in Mulesoft Integrations including supervising or mentoring junior staff across multiple locations

  • You excel at identifying and resolving systemic issues within the team and across the organization

  • You have experience with Audit systems and Compliance requirements

  • Java development background for on-premise and SaaS applications using Spring, JEE and/or JSE frameworks

  • Prior experience architecting message and data flows between large systems, and persisting data for analytical purposes

  • Understanding of synchronous / asynchronous patterns, message sequencing, correlation, queuing, filtering, transformation, guaranteed delivery, batch processing, error handling and recovery strategies, publish/subscribe, ETL

  • Design considering scalability and reliability

  • Experience designing secure services using RAML and REST based APIs

  • Experience with message queuing technologies and publish subscribe

  • Performance Monitoring and error logging

  • Integrations involving very large data volumes

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions through excellent written and verbal skills]


Ideally, you would also have experience in:


  • Java, Scala, Scalding

  • Mulesoft

  • Maven

  • Git

  • Continuous Integration, Jenkins

  • SOAP, FTP, XML, WSDL

  • OData

  • MUnit testing framework

  • One or more on-premise and cloud packaged solutions, i.e. Oracle, Salesforce, Workday

  • Other ESB solutions including, IBM, WebMethods, Oracle, Tibco, Talend, etc…


Requirements:


  • BA/BS in related area of focus, CS degree preferred

  • Minimum 7 years experience, preferably in an enterprise environment

  • Background working within an Agile environment

  • 5+ years mentorship, supervisory or management experience

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
