Twitter is seeking a Researcher II to be part of our Revenue team, focused on MoPub to support our Advertising business. At Twitter, our research and insights play an integral part in inspiring the products that fuel Twitter’s mission to give everyone the power to create and share information without barriers. Our team has a direct impact on advertising product strategy, roadmaps, and the design of new experiences that help advertisers of all sizes grow their business by connecting with people in a meaningful way.
What You’ll Do:
As a member of our Outcomes Experience Research team, you will lead the proactive discovery, exploration and development of strategic advertising-related insights that will anchor our product strategies for MoPub. Collaboration will also be a key part of your role. You’ll build relationships with partners in Product, Engineering, Design and Data Science. Also, you’ll work with other research teams across the business to connect the dots, seed new ideas, and ultimately sharpen product development strategies to help fuel long-term sustainable revenue growth for Twitter.
Who You Are:
You are an experienced researcher with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research experiences. You know when to engage with teams in Design, Product, Engineering, Data Science and which questions to ask, where to probe, and how to land insights across a business. You’re passionate about Twitter and believe great experiences are always inspired by a deep understanding of the user.
Through mixed research methods, develop advertising-related insights that guide our MoPub product strategy across teams in Product, Design, Engineering and Data Science
Deliver creative and impactful insights stories that engage our partners and also elevate the Experience Research function as a whole
Build collaborative relationships with a wide array of cross-functional partners
Become a trusted authority on advertising trends in various spaces (e.g. DSPs) and the general landscape for our partners
Bachelor's degree in fields related to Research, Mathematics, Sociology, Economics or equivalent experience
4+ years directly designing and executing mixed method (qualitative, quantitative, etc.) research projects that influence business decisions
A track record of producing customer-centric thought leadership that informs business, marketing and/or product development strategies and roadmaps
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships remotely and cross-functionally to influence strategy and decisions
An entrepreneurial, forward thinking mindset and creative approach to problem-solving
Strong business acumen; an understanding of business goals, strategies and pressures while being aware of industry trends and competitive actions as a context for doing research
Strong project management skills and experience guiding multiple internal and/or outsourced projects simultaneously
Ability to manage through ambiguity
