Who We Are
Content Foundations is responsible for the building blocks that power the core content experience on Twitter. We lay the foundation for product teams to build rich experiences that create new forms of content and improve the mechanics and comprehension of conversations on Twitter. We work on some of the world’s most highly-scaled distributed systems, utilizing in-house Twitter systems and cloud providers, to handle hundreds of millions of Tweets, Fleets, DMs, LIVE, Spaces and engagements every single day.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the Content Foundations org, driving its technical strategy and roadmap, and crafting success metrics in close collaboration with peers across the company.
Build cohesive, high-functioning teams that thrive in an environment of trust, respect, and inclusion.
Ensure your teams fully understand the goals and objectives of Twitter as a company and how their work fits into the bigger picture.
Support the professional development of managers and engineers in your org through coaching, mentorship, and performance management.

BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
10+ years industry experience, 5+ years in software engineering management, including managing managers
Exposure to large-scale distributed systems, server-side engineering, recommendation systems, ML applications in consumer products
Exposure to building products, taking them to market, and iterating and improving them over time
Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP
