Who we are:

Twitter’s Corporate Finance team is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team! The FP&A team at Twitter is a high-impact, high-visibility team, whose mission is to provide insights that enable leaders to make thoughtful and strategic business decisions. We provide our cross-functional partners with detailed data analysis and scenario modeling, playing an integral role in helping Twitter grow. Reporting to the Manager of Corporate FP&A, this role will play a critical part in managing labor spend and influencing business decisions. The ideal candidate for this role will be a strategic thinker, have exceptional communication and business partnering skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
What you’ll do:
  • Analyze trends and consolidation for Actuals, Forecast, and Budgets
  • Identify and evaluate the impact of labor drivers that affect your financial forecasts
  • Drive improvements to the forecast drivers affecting accuracy
  • Prepare financial models for items such as stock based compensation
  • Provide decision support through scenario modeling and ad-hoc analysis
  • Play an integral role in quarterly earnings preparation and analysis
  • Serve as subject matter expert for all compensation related financials


Who You Are:

  • Experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
  • Ability to generate data-driven insights
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across different functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment under pressure
  • Experience with Oracle and Hyperion
  • Naturally inquisitive with an aptitude for learning new tools and desire to continue to build skills as our work advances digitally
  • Desire to solve problems and improve processes
  • Data-driven and experienced in examining a business scenario, outcome, or use case employing data, metrics and analysis
  • Understanding of accounting concepts preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or technical field preferred; MBA a plus
  • 5-7 years of work experience in financial planning & analysis
  • Advanced modeling and Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint
  • In-depth understanding of financial statements
  • Working knowledge with SQL; Python / R a plus
