Job Description
Partnering with the top brands in the world, Strategists on the Next team produce executions that are audience-led, insights-driven, measurable, on-brand, and creative, ultimately leading to a memorable experience for people on Twitter. We care about the user experience and design creative solutions that will be useful and delightful for them while also delivering against brands’ objectives/KPIs.
We’re looking for a Brand Strategist who excels at crafting human-centric ideas, specifically for financial services, retail, and travel brands. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who can light up a room as a storyteller, bring collaborative energy, and drive to do what’s best for our clients - and Twitter’s business. You will be asked to excel at both strategic thinking and creative ideation, possess effective time and project management skills, and be able to work in cross-functional environments.
This role involves working directly with teams within Twitter Next (Sales, Innovation, Production, Design, Data) as well as across the company (Research, Content Partnerships, Marketing). You will also need to build relationships and partner with brands and their agencies to help create standout work.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for helping brands achieve their goals on Twitter, providing unique recommendations with our scaled products, and diving deeply into behavior on Twitter to pitch wholly custom solutions. This will require you to work closely with sales partners, partner within our organization, and design and present your work to brands and their agencies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4+ years experience in digital media and marketing at an ad agency, on the client-side, at a tech company/platform, or with a media company (multi-disciplinary experience preferred)
  • Experience in building headline-worthy creative digital media and sponsorship programs at scale that drive brand awareness and high user engagement
  • Adept at crafting insights through quantitative data and a qualitative understanding of people

  • In-depth knowledge of Twitter as both a user and as a marketer, including a deep understanding of our platform's promoted products and overall advertising model

  • Experience leading and managing clients, accounts, and cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated ability to leave an impactful impression through presentations and pitches

  • BA/BS degree preferred
