Team Wear Manager- Workplace

The Workplace Team Wear Manager is the liaison between senior leadership, Tesla employees and Team Wear with regard to insuring all employees have the necessary team wear, activating employees to our Tesla mission. A successful Team Wear Manger will be approachable, outgoing and exudes the Tesla mission in all facets. Our ideal Team Wear candidate embodies the Tesla culture and passion for supporting a diverse group of talented individuals.
  • Work with Production, Quality, Production Control, Facilities, Maintenance, and all other supporting teams to understand needs for team wear.
  • EH&S to ensure safety in team wear including ANSI, OSHA, and DOT requirements are met.
  • Communicate regularly with procurement on projected budgets for team wear, including headcount and attrition rates.
  • Work with Workplace Manager on physical necessities including efficient use of space and storage.
  • Create plans and develop ideas for effective management and distribution of team wear in a customer service manner.
  • Maintain accurate inventory accuracy of on hand stock in team wear storage location and onsite.
  • Maintain consistent inventory by placing orders with vendor in an appropriate time frame and ensuring accurate delivery.
  • Work with vendors to ensure consistency in product and delivery time frame.
  • Collaborate with brand standards on new designs and approval of new items.
  • Regularly communicate with Global Supply and Procurement on upcoming changes to team wear program that affect budget, quantities, and work groups.
  • Develop effective communication strategies to notify associates of new policies, processes, and team wear availability.
  • Promote continuous improvement through suggestions of new ideas and feedback.
  • Participate in conference calls with vendors and attend supporting events.
  • Provide support to Workplace manager in other Workplace Operations.

Required Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including solid interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Demonstrates personal leadership and accountability.
  • Demonstrated history of utilizing strong organizational and communication skills when dealing with employees and senior leadership.
  • Ability to work weekends and nights as needed
