The Role:
Supervisors in the Residential Customer Operations team are crucial to the fulfilment of orders across a broad spectrum of Tesla Energy products. This position will be fully responsible for the performance of the cross-functional teams moving individual projects from order through installation and system activation in a given region.
The Supervisor will ensure that the team is successfully operating and completing all assigned functions and responsibilities within established service level objectives and meeting the set regional targets. Utilizing a servant leadership mind-set and superior communication skills, the Supervisor will provide individual coaching to agents to help them realize their full potential.
The Supervisor will dive into individual jobs to review quality and provide feedback. Speaking with customers regularly will help the Supervisor provide upward reporting to ensure that the voice of the customer is central in efforts to constantly improve the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple cross-functional teams as they project manage order fulfillment through to system activation
  • Drive the regional team to achieve clearly outlined business objectives
  • Consistently exceed preset customer experience targets related to Orders, milestone achievement and customer satisfaction
  • Develop the knowledge, skill, and output of the team through coaching and mentoring
  • Obtain or possess a thorough knowledge of our products and order fulfillment processes
  • Leverage available reporting and analytics resources to optimize productivity outputs

  • Suggest process adjustments to maximize the customer experience by fully understanding the voice of the customer

  • Perform additional duties as assigned and/or directed

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a people leader preferred. Time in renewables a plus
  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and knowledge relevant to the role
  • Self-directed and an independent thinker
  • Must possess ability to analyze data to drive results and provide feedback
  • Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Track record of exercising sound judgment and quick action to resolve complex challenges
  • Aptitude for keeping high level goals in focus even when direction proves ambiguous
  • Must be able to quickly and effectively de-escalate challenging situations
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to regional office locations
  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses as required by regional statute
