Staff Program Manager, Vehicle Accessories & Merchandise

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated, passionate and organized Staff Program Manager to join our Global Vehicle Accessories & Merchandise team. This candidate will be responsible for leading a wide variety of cross-functional programs from inception to completion across the business. This role will enhance the overall e-commerce experience on Tesla Shop by driving and executing strategies that improve customer experience, fulfillment operations, product introduction, systems improvement and innovation to drive the business’s growth and long-term success.

  • Develop and manage a detailed project roadmap that clearly defines end-to-end development plans and ensures on-time delivery
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and post-implementation phases of each project
  • Define a set of KPIs to measure business impact with the ability to analyze and utilize them in the decision-making processes
  • Manage cross-functional programs in close partnership with Supply Chain, Digital, Engineering, Finance and Design
  • Work closely with Engineering and Digital to drive business value of the tool or system being implemented and help deliver a scalable product that not just meets current needs but considers future growth scenarios
  • Proactively identify upcoming risks, issues and bottlenecks with a proposed plan for resolution
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements by removing gaps across multiple teams and ensuring teams are working on high-impact projects that align with business goals
  • Balance the business needs with technical constraints across fulfillment, order flow and website limitations by building deep subject matter expertise for your area


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, merchandise and/or product development with evidence of customer impact and evidence of exceptional ability
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to query data from various systems to solve problems
  • Motivated and self-starter mindset with extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with proven experience of ability to recognize, influence and maximize engagement with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, growing business unit and ability to flex and multi-task in order to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to make timely decisions, anticipate problems and provide creative solutions
