Responsibilities:

Responsible for material handling business covering in ST & Body Shop / PT & GA shop
Manage the daily operation and focus on changes management in safety, quality, response, cost and people
Lead teamwork to accomplish KPI index with safety, quality, response, cost and people;
Ensure timely and accurate material movements through all inventory areas ( from receiving dock to the lineside) at the lowest total possible cost ;
Leading and managing people, projects and resources to optimize production for on-time delivery, coordinate material input to ensure on time delivery;
Lead in the attainment of increased production efficiency and cycle time reduction;
Ensure minimization of excess/obsolete inventory and increase annual turns;
Establish and maintain appropriate inventory levels for all products, and focus on Min/Max operation;
Drive the development and implementation of internal systems and software will be paramount;
Monitor and drive down overall cost of materials including material handling expenses, administration expenses, and cost of materials management
Ensure that operation’s supply base contributes to success of the operation and that suppliers are selected based on overall cost effectiveness and their ability to meet Tesla’s requirements
Monitor, track, and provide feedback on suppliers’ performance on overall cost, delivery, and quality

Requirements:

Ideal candidate will have minim 5 years of experience working in a Material Operation environment in relative company.
Expertise in material handling through the manufacturing process by orchestrating the efficiency of moving material through manufacturing operations in an orchestrated fashion
Proven examples of continuously improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the materials function within high growth, fast paced, manufacturing environment
Proven success in managing department(s) responsible for some or all aspects of materials control functions
Demonstrated financial understanding of materials and supply chain performance
Strong communication and management skills combined with business analytics, process and system development and change management
Have ability communication for the business target in fluent oral and written English.
