The Role
The Maintenance Leader will lead current sustainable production as well as new model and/or equipment introduction when required. She/he must be capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and department leaders to address concerns and issues that affect part quality, production efficiency, work cell ergonomics, and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities:

Direct leadership of maintenance crews covering a 24/7 operating capability to drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

Responsible for work force management: day-to-day line support, in-house repair work, vacation, overtime scheduling, and weekend work scheduling.

Define daily tasks and setting directions for the team.

Develop equipment standards, procedures, and methods.

Project manager internal and minor contractor maintenance projects and equipment upgrades.

Develop and maintain proper documentation of all necessary procedures, periodic maintenance tasks, and equipment changes (electrical, spare parts upgrades, mechanical).

Assist with budget development and reporting.

Maintain spare parts inventory: identify/order needed parts and maintain tracking system.

Train and direct maintenance associates to support production requirements
Requirements:-
Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience in maintenance / equipment management / leadership role

3-5+ years of extensive experience with trouble-shooting and correcting industrial equipment maintenance.

Experience in team building, coaching and succession planning for technical and engineering personal.

Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment on a journeyman level.
