The Role
The Maintenance Leader will lead current sustainable production as well as new model and/or equipment introduction when required. She/he must be capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and department leaders to address concerns and issues that affect part quality, production efficiency, work cell ergonomics, and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities:

• Direct leadership of maintenance crews covering a 24/7 operating capability to drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
• Responsible for work force management: day-to-day line support, in-house repair work, vacation, overtime scheduling, and weekend work scheduling.
• Define daily tasks and setting directions for the team.
• Develop equipment standards, procedures, and methods.
• Project manager internal and minor contractor maintenance projects and equipment upgrades.
• Develop and maintain proper documentation of all necessary procedures, periodic maintenance tasks, and equipment changes (electrical, spare parts upgrades, mechanical).
• Assist with budget development and reporting.
• Maintain spare parts inventory: identify/order needed parts and maintain tracking system.
• Train and direct maintenance associates to support production requirements

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance / equipment management / leadership role
• 3-5+ years of extensive experience with trouble-shooting and correcting industrial equipment maintenance.
• Experience in team building, coaching and succession planning for technical and engineering personal.
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment on a journeyman level.
