The role:
The Inventory Control & Planning Analyst is responsible for controlling and monitoring the Inventory accuracy and correct stocking levels within 1 or more 3PL or Tesla operated Distribution Centers (FSL/RDC) operations He/she has been delegated the responsibility to resolve inventory accuracy discrepancies and stock level issues in a timely manner according the agreed procedures or as instructed by his/her manager.
Where applicable, he/she is responsible for the proper registration of work done at our company system(s) and resolve process issues related to inventory storage, out of stock issues accuracy and stocking quality levels.
This candidate cooperates closely with Channel Planning to achieve accurate, optimal and timely inventory levels and replenishment initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • This position is continuous evolving and the responsibilities may change over time - this role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization
  • Analysis the inventory accuracy, pro-actively take action mitigate, resolve and propose sustainable solutions.
  • Works closely with Channel Team to assure timely and accurate replenishment of parts to the assigned region.
  • Work closely with Channel Planning team on NPI, seasonal parts programs and reduction of obsolete stock.
  • Supports claim handling and resolution related to inventory discrepancies
  • Works together with Return operations on ensuring re-useable parts storage.
  • Ensures cycle count process in accordance with agreements and KPI’s
  • Research root causes of inventory discrepancies and identify process, system, and training improvements.
  • Responsible for accurate, timely and complete reporting to management and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • HBO / bachelor /degree in Supply Chain/ Business Administration or similar level by (working)experience
  • Minimal 3-4 years’ experience in Inventory control standards and storage improvement programs in a supply chain/ warehousing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of 5-S, Kaizen & Lean management are preferable.
  • Proven Inventory Control experience in intrnational middle sized/large spare parts warehouse operations.
  • Working with international stakeholders in a global operating environment
  • Spacious users knowledge of a warehouse management system
  • Good/ very good knowledge of warehouse and supply chain processes
