Enterprise Sales Advisor - Fremont, CA

The Role
The Enterprise Account Advisor will be responsible for sales to large corporate clients, operational leasing companies, and any business’ vehicle acquisitions in North America. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with these clients - managing the full end-to-end customer journey. You will also help to sustain Tesla’s third-party vehicle leasing relationship for all customer types and sizes (Business-to-Consumer, Business-to-Business, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government, Transport, etc.). The Enterprise Account Advisor will report to the Enterprise Sales Manager ,and will work closely with the Enterprise Program Manager.

Large Corporate Clients -
  • Reach out proactively to large corporates within the USA, Mexico, and Canada that have not referred to Tesla yet. Operate with a real “hunter” mentality, with high activity levels to stimulate demand.
  • Own the relationship for large corporate clients, short-term rental and taxi companies within North America; not only educating them about our company and our vehicle offerings but ensuring a great customer journey throughout.
  • Leverage existing leasing company relationships to grow sales within the large corporation segment.
  • Establish and manage all contractual agreements with these customers; where applicable.
  • Help to facilitate introductions and positive relationships with third party finance or leasing partners where necessary.
Operational Leasing Companies -
  • Own the relationship for Fleet Management and Operational Leasing Companies and be the primary point of contact for Tesla's preferred leasing partner(s).
  • Ensure you have a constant appreciation and understanding of their needs and requirements; specifically, any shortfalls in our offering.
  • Establish and manage all contractual agreements with these customers, including Purchase Agreements, NDAs, and Framework Agreements.
  • Enable and manage operational lease offerings for Tesla vehicles through these leasing companies.

General Duties:
  • Actively partner with the Enterprise Sales Manager to develop a cohesive strategy for the growth of enterprise vehicle sales within North America.
  • Manage the overall business plan by working with other departments. Facilitating partner meetings regularly and effectively.
  • Set proper expectations for current state of delivery timing, registration processing, etc.
  • Meet all sales and delivery objectives to drive Tesla’s mission.
  • Drive our customers’ success by acting as a facilitator to meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge in respect of all vehicles, processes and business finance solutions. Conduct competitor analysis on a regular basis.
  • Actively collaborate with field teams to provide coaching and training on Business-to-Business sales. This includes specific delivery rules, registration and titling differences per state, and other sales workflow intricacies.
  • Propose new tools or workflows that would promote growth and efficiency of business
  • Use Tesla’s Customer Relation Management system and tools to log appointments, calls, test drives, contacts and meeting notes.
  • Ensure customers are fulfilling their contractual obligations (e.g. payment terms, dwell time).
  • Continuous improvement of processes and procedures to reduce operational friction.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required.
  • Sustain high level of customer service and accountability

  • Significant experience in Business-to- Business or commercial sales with proven track record to meet and exceed targets and goals.
  • Self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has great attention to detail.
  • Team player, willing to ask for help and provide assistance to those on their team and outside of their team
  • Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines
  • Ability to communicate relevant information to all levels of the organization.
  • Passionate dedication and ethical approach to sales management and operations.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships and act as a well-respected, trusted partner that others want to work with.
  • Driven and passionate about Tesla’s mission.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Solid knowledge of business appropriate financial options and incentives.
  • Fluency in English
