Role
The manufacturing quality data engineering team is responsible for performing advanced analytics, creating infrastructure and data pipelines, developing predictive models and making data applications that enable cross functional teams to leverage a wealth of manufacturing, equipment and vehicle data both efficiently and effectively. In this role, you will focus on developing standard key performance indicators, metrics and dashboards across all existing and future manufacturing facilities worldwide. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify patterns, develop visualizations and validate metrics prior to executive reviews.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze manufacturing, equipment and vehicle data and highlight high impact insights to drive manufacturing and vehicle improvements
  • Write SQL to aggregate and process data across multiple data source
  • Create ETL jobs to calculate key performance indicators
  • Develop high visibility dashboards to visualize metrics across manufacturing facilities worldwide
  • Test and validate results to ensure accuracy

Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree or higher in quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • 3+ years of work experience in data analytics or engineering related field.
  • Expert in writing SQL and familiar with multiple data architecture paradigms (MySQL, MicrosoftSQL, Oracle, Vertica, Clickhouse, Presto)
  • Data visualization veteran, familiar with tools and techniques such as Superset, Plotly, Tableau, Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to combine and find patterns across multiple datasets
  • Strong attention to details and data accuracy
