Responsibilities:
- Field based body repair technical specialist that solves field escalations at Tesla Approved Body Shops and Tesla Body Shops
- Root cause body repair field issues and report findings to engineering teams
- Answer Toolbox cases, emails, and phone calls to address body shop concerns with highest level of response and attention
- Provide training and quality assurance activities to continually improve customer satisfaction
- Generate weekly reports of activities and findings
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- ~50% travel based on business needs
- Comply with all Tesla safety rules, guidelines, and standards
Requirements:
- Certificate from Vocational School in collision preferred
- Body Mater Technician - 10 years industry experience preferred, Tesla experience preferred
- Expert working knowledge - frame equipment, welding, riveting, metal work, diagnostic systems, estimating platforms
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft office and cloud applications
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work independently in limited supervision environment
- Ability to travel nationally and internally to support program needs
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs and driving fork lift
- Must be at least 18 years of age
