Automated Systems Technician - Seats Assembly

The Role The Automated Systems Technician is part of an operational group of highly specialized technicians who can coordinate individual tasks, new product introduction builds, supporting line trials, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
  • Work as part of the integration team to design, develop and execute projects from concept to commissioning
  • Devise, fabricate, install, calibrate, test and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Assist engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of systems
  • Inspect and maintain equipment using tools such as voltmeters and PC-based diagnostic software
  • Conduct quality assurance/control tests and procedures

  • Associate degree preferred, or equivalent experience in the related field
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics and wiring electrical control panels, equipment remote actuators, and input/output panels
  • Experience red-lining electrical and pneumatic schematics for updates
  • Experience in validating new equipment and fixtures capability, repeatability and capacity prior to introduction to the production floor
  • Experience with cable and wire types and appropriate routing, installation of sensors and feedback loops
  • Experience and understanding of ratings for cables for motors, wires gauge, solenoid valves, sensors and other component in schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Knowledgeable in opening and editing electrical or pneumatic schematics using AutoCad software
  • Working knowledge of DC/AC electrical systems
  • Experience in Machining: NC machine tools; mill, lathe, saws, grinding equipment
  • Experience with conveyor systems: Logomat, Bosch, Tekno, ISD and others
  • Highly skilled in PLC Allen Bradley and Siemens
  • Experience in Robotics troubleshooting and/or programming: Fanuc, Kuka
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
