Associate, Business Operations (Engineering)

  • Engage supply chain & procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and deployment to drive improvement in the energy business as it grows in products and expands to new geographies
  • Develop business cases alongside product finance and manufacturing finance colleagues to support existing and next generation energy storage / solar products
  • Break down processes into discrete components for analysis and optimization
  • Improve and update or establish processes to align to the constantly changing nature of the business
  • Drive cost optimization in existing and future processes, including establishing and managing cost reduction plans
  • Guide resource planning and support business partners in project prioritization
  • Develop and maintain financial projections, track actual performance against plan for energy storage and solar products
  • Translate operational targets to financial projections or vice versa to set strategy and drive the business

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, other quantitative fields and/or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-6 years of experience in a consulting, investment banking, investment management, equity research, or finance/strategy role
  • Ability to take imperfect data and turn it into actionable insights
  • Evidence of exceptional ability, especially within an ambiguous environment
  • Comfort with being self-driven and working with little day-to-day oversight
  • Ability to analyze and identify areas of improvement, communicate recommendations to leadership and drive decision-making, and drive implementation
  • Demonstrated success driving tangible impact / influencing within a broader organization
  • Excellent analytical skills (e.g. financial modeling, SQL a plus, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements
