If you're interested in helping artists get paid for their work then come join us. Location Stockholm Job type Permanent
About the role
Within RoaR we have identified a need to streamline and standardise how we build web applications and how our internal business users interact with them. To meet this need we are creating a dedicated engineering team to focus on building the platform and applications that will allow users to operate royalty systems and gain insights from the data they produce.
This is an exciting opportunity to join with our existing web engineers in forming a new team. You will be able to influence the working culture of your team as well as the technical and product road maps. We are hiring for a range of engineering levels depending on how long you have worked and relevance of experience.

  • Work with modern web technologies such as Next.js, React, gRPC, and GraphQL.
  • Participate in the Spotify-wide web developer community affecting and driving web engineering across the company.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, internal business users, and designers to solve exciting and challenging problems.
  • Hack on what you want during regular hack days and annual hack weeks.

Who you are
  • You’re an experienced web developer with at least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Have an understanding of Javascript design patterns, data structures, web architecture, and understand how to apply craft to design pragmatic solutions.
  • Experienced working throughout the full web stack.
  • Interested in keeping up with current standard methodologies in your areas of expertise.
  • Experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools.
  • You know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming, and automated testing.
  • You’re familiar with building scalable systems.
  • You enjoy interacting directly with the users.

Where you'll be
  • We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
  • Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the EMEA region in which we have a work location
  • Prefer an office to work from home instead? Not a problem! We have plenty of options for your working preferences. Find more information about our Work From Anywhere options here.
