We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to be a part of the Platform Mission PMO!
In the role, you will focus on leading some of our highest priority Mission objectives and focus areas. You’ll establish smooth ways of working between the various teams that contribute to our objectives and amplify the efficiency of sophisticated, cross-disciplinary programs.
Your secondary focus will be contributing to streamlining our program management methodology, helping our PMO establish and guide in how we execute effectively.
What you will do
  • As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll be accountable for driving the execution of the Platform Mission’s central initiatives. These initiatives are often large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide that we believe will have a significant impact on Spotify within a short to medium-term timeline.
  • You’ll be responsible for enabling and ensuring great collaboration between teams and partners within the Platform Mission and across the company. While staying true to tech, product, design, and insights principles. Your job will be to amplify the efficiency of cross-disciplinary teams.
  • We expect end-to-end oversight and management and need people who are self-motivated, independent and dedicated. Your programs often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, and it is your job to keep all the players coordinated on the work progress and deadlines.
  • Due to the fast-paced nature and time zone overlap, you’re able to quickly triage, prioritize, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • To be successful in this role, you easily build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with partners at multiple levels. Your strength should lie in seeing the holistic perspective, see how all the moving parts should tie together, and systemize it into a functioning program.
  • You will craft and sustain forums for strategic alignment with key partners and teams within Spotify that wish to impact the specific strategies that you’re driving.
  • As part, the goal for this role is also to support other project and program managers within our Mission and to contribute to our Program Execution Framework.

Who you are
  • You have 5+ years of demonstrated program management experience.
  • You’re passionate about and have experience working in technical Program Management roles, preferably in fast-paced and cross-functional infrastructure teams.
  • You are a great communicator who brings clarity to the program's strategies, goals, and progress status.
  • You are data-informed in your work and understand what agile is all about.
  • You’re truly a “do-er” willing to work autonomously and get hands-on solving any problems needed to help the program move forward while continuously looking for ways to improve how we work.
  • You’re very structured, organized, and have attention to detail.
  • You’re an experienced leader comfortable in coaching and mentoring project and program managers on different levels.
