The Edison Group in the Growth Opportunities Mission is the experimental growth team within Spotify. We work on taking a high potential idea that can reach new audiences, running a deep-dive exploration, and building and testing it with real users; through A/B testing we take data-informed decisions to connect artists and fans.
As part of the Edison/Dice product area, our Mambas Squad is the team that built & powered Wrapped 2020 and the 2019 native experience! Our name signifies agility, speed of execution, and impact/visibility associated with high-profile marketing campaigns like Forever Favorites and Wrapped. We focus on launching in-app differentiated content experiences that generate global conversations and increase engagement and shares among our users.

What you'll do
You will work closely with product, insights, and design to uncover the next growth opportunity for music fans.
- You will build and run experiments to iterate on new and existing products. Delivering many of those user-facing features through the iOS app to over 250 million users
Some nice areas, that working on this team you would be exposed to, are running A/B testing experiments, with accurately measurable results.
Who you are
Have strong fundamentals in computer science and previous experience building products at scale
Have an intermediate to sophisticated understanding of Objective-C and Swift concepts
Have a quality approach, delivering high-quality products and supporting others to maintain a high standard
Comfortable working collaboratively on a cross-functional team, working project-based, and also driving delivery on small to medium-sized initiatives
You keep UI/UX on top of your mind (an eye for design, interactivity, usability, and accessibility), performance and have a familiarity with system design
Enjoy learning as well as mentoring others and are passionate about your work, striving towards the goals of the team and ultimately, the Spotify mission - “giving a million creative artists the opportunity to live off their art and billions of fans the ability to enjoy and be inspired by it"
