What you’ll do
Work closely with cross-functional teams of skilled engineers, data scientists, user researchers, designers, and product managers who are all passionate about providing an outstanding product experience.
Define metrics, build and analyze dashboards, reports and key datasets to empower data-informed product development.
Communicate insights and recommendations to key partners, helping activate data standard methodologies in the Client Platform teams.
Develop and innovate on our mixed-methods insights practice, and contribute to the wider Insights community at Spotify.
Perform exploratory analysis to understand who our users are, how they get value out of our offering and where we can further develop our product to bring greater value.
Work from our offices in Stockholm (With the current situation regarding COVID-19, this role will be remote until it's appropriate to work from the office).
Who you are
You have 5+ years of proven experience, with a degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics or any other quantitative field.
You are a communicative person who values building strong relationships with colleagues and partners and enjoys mentoring and guiding others
You can navigate loosely defined problems and come up with impactful and actionable insights.
You have an understanding of how to instrument products to accurately collect user and system behaviors through data for a wide variety of insight and product development use cases.
You have the competence to perform advanced analytics, and you possess statistical competence (such as regression modeling and significance testing).
You have hands-on experience synthesizing insights from data using tools such as Python, R, BigQuery, SQL, Tableau.

Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the EMEA region in which we have a work location and is within working hours.
Working hours? We operate within the Central European and GMT time zones for collaboration and ask that all be located that time zone.
