Spotify is a global community of over 250 million music fans and artists, and now podcasters. It’s always been our mission to make audio more accessible, and create a new and wonderful way for creators and fans to connect with each other.
The Podcaster Mission is the team within Spotify responsible for building the best tools for podcast creators. We have two platforms that help us do that: Anchor (the platform that allows you to create, distribute, monetize, and grow a podcast, all for free) and Spotify for Podcasters (the platform that makes it easy to understand and engage with your listeners on Spotify).
We’ve done a lot already, and we have no plans of slowing down. Come help us build the future of podcasting!
What you'll do:
  • Assist in the creation of front-facing marketing collateral including, but not limited to: landing pages, iconography, advertising, email, and web collateral, infographics, newsletters, and social media needs
  • Build, maintain, and continually develop visual communication according to brand guidelines
  • Quickly turn around creative and develop multimedia assets including GIFs, illustrations, icons, and animations, if needed
  • You create multiple ideas and use creative storytelling techniques to inspire Anchor’s maven podcasting community
  • You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way

Who you are:
  • Someone with a sense of humor and who doesn’t take themselves too seriously
  • You like to collaborate, ideate, and share perspectives, without being judgemental
  • Are conversational and aren’t afraid to speak up, but also know that listening is essential
  • Capable of working fast, being flexible, and be independent, but know when to ask for help
  • You have experience in professional brand marketing design in an agency or tech company **Bonus points for experience with app product marketing design**
  • You have experienced in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and working knowledge of After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder, and InDesign
  • A strong user of Figma
  • You are enthusiastic about visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and color whether in an URL or IRL space
  • Someone with the ability to interpret our brand guidelines/standards and apply them to all creative assets
  • You have video experience and/or web design, and programming skills are a major plus, including designing with Webflow
  • You are a strong communicator and have the communication skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts
  • Someone who has a people-focused design mentality. Even though you have incredible skills, you are constantly looking to hone your design instinct through user feedback. Whether through hands-on user research or by designing options for an A/B test
  • You have a passion for podcasts and culture and like pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in digital design and beyond
  • Please provide a link to your online portfolio or a PDF; applications without a portfolio are unlikely to be considered

  • We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
  • Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the Americas region in which we have a work location and is within working hours
  • Working hours? We operate within the Eastern Standard time zone for collaboration and ask that all be located that time zone
