Core Infrastructure’s goal is to provide superior cloud-native infrastructure to Spotify’s engineers. As a member of the insights team, you’ll partner with multi-functional teams of skilled engineers, data scientists, user researchers, designers, and product managers who are all passionate about creating scalable products for our developers and customers. You’ll help us understand and measure the impact of engineering investments and drive product decisions to unlock and maximize Spotify’s developer productivity.
What you'll do
Work closely with the Core Infrastructure Insights Team to design data structures and pipelines which will empower research and analytic questions.
Deliver well-defined, transformed, tested, documented, and code-reviewed data sets and architecture to enable Insights team and our internal data consumers.
Drive and improve our processes for maintaining high-quality data and reporting.
Work with the engineering team to implement new ETL pipelines, and data infrastructure improvements, as needed.
Who you are
You have at least 3 years of proven experience, with a Background in computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, economics, mathematics, or similar quantitative field or comparable experience
You are a communicative person who values building strong relationships with colleagues and partners and enjoys mentoring and teaching others
Significant experience in designing analytical data layers and in conducting ETL with sophisticated data sets.
Knowledgeable in data modeling, data access and data storage techniques.
High level of ability in SQL and Python or Scala
Experience with GCP tooling and systems is a plus
