Logistics Fixtures/New Store Analyst

Your role at Sephora...
As the Logistics Fixtures/New Store Analyst you will be responsible for providing support and initiative on all Activity around flow of fixtures and product into new stores, refreshes and updates. Working closely with internal and external partners to improve processes, reduce costs, increase service offering, and improve service. Creating and reports metrics, recommendations, and training to educate the team on new policy and processes.

  • Manages all activities associated with domestic transportation services including, RFP activity, carrier selection, rate negotiations, cost controls, and management reporting.
  • Organizes shipments and plans loads for Outbound operation to Sephora stores.
  • Serves as communication point with all internal and external business partners
  • Assists with carrier selection and rates for daily shipping.
  • Coordinates truck for pick-up with our selected carrier network.
  • Partners with vendors and buyers to support inbound business requirements.
  • Insures shipment tracking & tracing and other inquiries including rate quotes and special requests
  • Effectively works with carriers and potential carriers with regard to performance and rates
  • Understand logistics operations to include: Ocean, Air, Truck and Rail
  • Develops and ensures implementation of policies for US transportation operations.
  • Analyzes transportation and supply chain data to identify opportunities for network optimization, equipment availability, service level improvements, and cost containment.
  • Stays current with evolving logistic trends, impact to equipment and capacity issues and state of the global logistics industry.
  • Additional duties as assigned


We would love to hear from you if…

  • 1-2 years in an analyst or similar role required
  • Logistics systems user experience (TMS, WMS, Freight Optimization, Load Planning) preferred
  • Intermediate software skills such as MS Office products required.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in:
    • Working understanding of the tradeoffs between transportation mode, cost, time, and efficiency
    • Analyzing data, developing a recommended course of

action and implementing a successful solution working through challenging issues in a constructive manner
  • Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
  • Has proven relationship building skills and handles conflict gracefully
  • Project management experience
