PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP is a leader in business applications with most of the world’s biggest and best companies running our software. SAP products are used around the world to bill, to buy, to hire, to inform decisions and to execute on them.
The Tools team is an internal software development team responsible for defining, designing and implementing the applications that support developers, product owners and the entire product development organization in their daily work.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a developer (internship or working student) in the team, you will be working in a fast-paced and agile environment where ideas become reality, prototypes become products, and product increments are shipped in short cycles.
With the team, you will share the responsibility for Cumulus, a service for compliant storage of CI/CD pipeline results. On a higher level, Cumulus is storing results of various compliance relevant checks, is calculating a compliance status based on the information in these results and afterwards passing information for the checks to other tools and displaying the compliance information on a single page application.
You will be part of a co-located and cross-functional scrum team consisting of developers, UX designers and product owners.
In this role, your tasks include
  • take over development tasks on your own or together with other developers
  • work with state-of-the-art frameworks and tools like Angular, NestJS, GCP, Docker, etc.
  • be part of the scrum team
  • join the discussion with product owners, UXDs and other developers and make design or implementation proposals
  • bring new and fresh ideas into the team
  • present/share your learnings with the team


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES


  • Studying at a university or university of applied sciences
  • Gained first experience with Typescript in a project
  • Nice to have: Experience with the frameworks/tools: Angular, NestJS, GCP
  • Language skills: German (fluent written and spoken)
  • Soft skills: Fast learning, independent and goal-oriented working style
  • Quality-mindset
