There is hardly any business area that is not affected by the Big Data wave, but customers struggle with a broad adoption due to the complexity of the solutions and lack of guidance from trusted suppliers.
Most of the enterprise big data projects are standalone silos with limited link into corporate structure. But as the technology gets more and more enterprise ready it is vital to connect them with corporate data governed e.g. in a data warehouse. It can be expected that architectures will need to combine big data systems with core business applications. Therefore data warehousing technology is under pressure to integrate efficiently with the Big Data scenarios and to provide features and functions to handle this new data and transform it into value.
Our teams answer to this challenge we build the SAP Data Hub that delivers a comprehensive logical data and analytics platform with a complete suite of fully supported, solutions and technologies that can meet the needs of even the most sophisticated and demanding modern enterprise-on-premises, in the cloud, or within any hybrid scenario.
Leveraging a long history in data management and landscape transformation, the Data Transformation teams provide software to enable our internal and external customers to migrate, convert, replicate and scramble the business data of their SAP applications. This technology foundation and experience is used to foster the integration of ABAP based application with the Big Data world via SAP Data Hub.
