About the team

The Technology & Innovation (T&I) board area is responsible for SAP Business Technology Platform – the platform for the Intelligent Enterprise that includes technologies like SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics, and Intelligent Technologies. The T&I board area is also in charge of SAP’s global innovation agenda and builds new business model- and market driven innovations to help customers realize the most business value.
As part of the central T&I communications and marketing team you will support us either in the headquarter in Walldorf or in our offices in Berlin or Potsdam with internal and external communications and marketing tasks at the earliest possible stage.
The role
  • Writing articles, blogs, and posts about SAP Business Technology Platform for internal and external audiences
  • Maintaining and upscaling our internal and external communication channels
  • Support the team to manage the BTP move program, resulting in high quality recommendations for the SAP Executive Board & Senior Management
  • Help to analyze market trends, competitive offerings, customer needs and product strategies, in areas such as Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Management, Integration or Extensions.
  • Take over PMO tasks such as getting regular status updates in from T&I Move projects and the BTP Move program workstreams, support team members to create comprehensive, accurate and meaningful program assets
  • Help to prepare monthly board updates and prepare Senior Executive decision proposals.
  • Create regular communication material for stakeholders and maintain the program achievements

Role requirements
  • Currently enrolled as student at a university or university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Media, Communications, Marketing, or related fields like Social Science
  • Computer skills: advanced MS Office skills
  • Language skills: fluent English required; fluent German skills advantageous
  • Soft skills: strong team working skills
  • Others: self-driven, creative, reliable, open-minded, well-organized, active user of social media and multimedia channels, passionate about writing and creating compelling stories for innovation and technology topics

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships).
