As Product Strategy Manager for Concur Expense, you’ll be responsible for setting globalization product directions. You’ll drive the most impactful initiatives to accelerate differentiation for global spend management. You’ll bring a broad perspective and innovative solutions to solve complex problems. Experience. You have a proven track record. You’ve developed a market leading product portfolio, have launched multiple products, and understand the keys to successful customer adoption.
Actively develop and evangelize Expense Globalization Product Strategy at both SAP Concur, and broader SAP levels.
- Work on Market Assessment for new and existing markets for Concur with a view to identify readiness for Expense product portfolio.
Understand the global market and work to create the relevant Market Requirement Documents for a suite of regulatory products like Per Diems, Car Mileage and Employee/ Value Added Tax.
Manage and effect roadmap and launch of Country Localization suites.
Drive strategic research and planning both with peers in the SAP Concur Product, Distribution, Marketing and Business Development functions, as well as industry thought leaders. Provide perspective on competitive landscape. Identify partnership plays, in addition to in-house developed options. Understand, shape, and drive alignment with Sales Business Strategy.
Develop methods to stay aligned with customer needs and sentiment analysis, at scale. Leverage key customer use cases, bringing them to life to drive broad understanding and accelerate funding for compelling business cases.
New Functionality: Build and continually manage a thorough framework for prioritizing new product ideas through business case development.
Existing Functionality: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine how well existing products and features are performing, contributing to profit, impacting operations and scale, and ultimately are recommended for continued investment.
Provide exceptional service and leadership to all relevant SAP Concur Product teams:
Translate business problems into high-level capabilities that the Product team can then use to define requirements for technical teams.
Establish performance metrics, goals and success criteria in an easy-to-consume framework. Regardless of what teams are working on, you’ll help them reach a clear, self-serve picture of whether the results will be successful for customers.
Collaborate with Product Leads to ensure successful go-to-market plans, launches, and adoption tracking, for key “hero” solutions in your area.
Establish accountability across product dependencies to drive successful customer and business outcomes.
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management and Strategy, Business Development, and / or Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense industry leadership.
