Summary & The Role
We are seeking a Product Manager (f/m/d) to define, lead, and execute upon a product strategy targeted to regulated industries for our Manufacturing and Industrial IoT Cloud/Edge solutions. You will collaborate with a highly professional and motivated team playing a key role to help SAP become the market leader in this space.
As a Product Manager (f/m/d) you will:
Develop and deliver on a product vision, strategy, and roadmap sharing with the wider team and its stakeholders, partners, and customers worldwide
Ensure the delivery of high-quality concepts and backlogs according to customer and user requirements, with the goal of creating a competitive advantage for SAP
Prepare, publish, demo, and present the product domain internally, on social media and in customer-facing events
Keep abreast of relevant industry and trends and best practices
Collect & incorporate early feedback from customers and stakeholders while managing their expectations ensuring excellent collaboration and partnership
Constantly evaluate competitive products to ensure our product is competitive in target markets
Identify opportunities and drive innovation in respective topics and domains of the functional role
Bachelors or master’s in computer science, engineering, business administration or equivalent
10+ years of combined consulting, manufacturing engineering, or product management experience in regulated industries (e.g. Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Biotech,…etc.)
Domain expertise in manufacturing processes either in process or discrete manufacturing w/a background in ERP and MES
Knowledge of GxP, FDA, or similar regulatory requirements for manufacturing/Industrial IoT applications as well as a deep understanding of validation procedures that are required for software implementations/go-lives
Proven track record in working with customer facing activities, cross teams, business cases as well as defining, launching or implementing successful software products
Results oriented driver for execution with proven project management and leadership skills (leading as an advocate with and without authority)
Readiness to travel abroad, ability to work closely with multiple locations, cultures, and time zones
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and in written form, with fluent English and German (ideally)
