YOUR FUTURE ROLE
Upon joining our development scrum team as Junior Developer (f/m/d) you will be thoroughly trained in all technical, functional and business process related topics, which you require for a smooth start. An experienced colleague from the same team will be your mentor and happy to support you in taking over full responsibility for tasks such as:
Design, implement, test (automated and manually) and maintain specific product features, primarily in the S/4HANA backend (ABAP), applying Agile Software Engineering (ASE) practices and adhering to high quality standards required for developing cloud applications
Contribute to quality assurance, test automation and performance improvements
Analyze and resolve issues identified during tests, upgrades, or productive customer usage
Work closely together with the product owner, architect, your other teammates and the development teams in other locations
Ramp up your business process, technical and functional domain knowledge in selected areas of financial consolidation and S/4HANA Group Reporting, resp.
You have graduated in computer science, business informatics, engineering, natural sciences, mathematics or related field. You bring very good analytical and problem-solving skills. You have programming experience and are passionate about developing financial business software applications. And you’re ready to deep-dive into Group Reporting (financial consolidation) as a functional topic and contribute your share to an S/4HANA Group Reporting product, which our customers will love to use.
Practical experience in agile business software development using scrum and ASE
Experience in Fiori app development (CDS, RAP, BOPF, OData)
Excellent German and English language skills

S/4HANA Group Reporting is SAP’s strategically positioned cloud solution for financial consolidation. The product area responsible for developing it is part of the LoB Finance & Risk organization with teams in Brno, Paris, Ratingen, and Walldorf.
