ISM Executive Communications

The new Intelligent Spend Management Marketing & Solutions team will be the bridge between the Intelligent Spend and Business Network product engineering team and the ISM Customer Success team. We are looking for an experienced executive communications professional to work alongside the Global Vice President to elevate the thought leadership platforms in ISM.

Duties:

  • Develop and execute overall positioning and communications strategy for ISM executives including the ISM CMSO and CPO
  • Identify and develop opportunities for the executives to continually elevate their thought leadership profiles and further the message of ISM/ISBN in the market
  • Create unique thought leadership content
  • Grow executive social platforms, monitoring current events and providing counsel on social posts for LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Collaborate with executives and other subject matter experts to research and develop compelling points of view on key topics; write and edit thought leadership content including bylines and blogs
  • Partner with ISM media relations, corporate communications, marketing, and analyst and influencer relations on internal and external speaking opportunities, events, and interviews
  • Create internal leadership communications and work alongside the ISBN/ISM Internal Communications team for placement
  • Serve as advisor to executives on communications-related opportunities and projects
  • Work collaboratively with the team and extended virtual team on plan development, and KPI creation and management
  • Provide counsel to the executive in communication matters
  • Be the filter for evaluating communications opportunities and their fit for the executive


Requirements:

  • Strong executive presence and comfort with interacting with all levels of management
  • Self-starter, ability to go from concept to execution with minimal supervision
  • Flexible with tolerance for change
  • Superior writing and editing skills
  • Experience in building executive social media profiles
  • 8+ years’ experience in a communications capacity
  • Ability to interact with employees, partners and customers at all levels
  • Bachelor’s in communications or marketing; MBA or MA preferred
